FAQ

  • How long are Exegesis Labs?

Labs are about 90 mins including Q&A

  • How are Labs offered (Zoom meeting, webinar, in person)?

Exegesis Labs are webinars. Participants will not be on camera and everyone except the Lab Instructor is muted.

  • How do I ask questions?

Questions can be submitted during the Lab via the chat feature. They will be read and answered at the end of the Lab, if they are not already answered during the Lab. Questions can be submitted anonymously.

  • Do I have to be a preacher or ordained to attend?

Nope! Anyone who has a desire to study the Word at a deeper lever and learn more about the Bible from a scholarly and spiritual perspective are welcome to attend.

  • Do I need to have attended Seminary to participate (or even understand)?

Not at all. Everything is explained in language that we all can understand. When specific terminology, familiar to those who may have attended seminary, is used, the instructor will be intentional about explaining them as they go.

  • I want to attend, but have a conflict that night. Is there a way for me to still get this information?

Absolutely! The Labs are recorded and placed in the account of all registrants regardless of whether or not they attend the live session.

  • Will this Lab be repeated?

Not this year. Each Exegesis Lab focuses on a particular type of biblical literature (e.g. Gospels, Psalms, Epistles). There are several types we will explore before repeating a genre.
