"Live according to your call, not your can"
Each of us is capable of doing and achieving a multiplicity of things. Too often, our lives are dominated by things we can do while we try to fit in what we are called to do. I believe we should begin with our sense of call and build from there. A life that is founded upon a sense of call has purpose, meaning, and direction. There is joy, peace, and strength when you know who you are and what you called to do.

A daily planning journal that promotes calm and clarity.
Unable to find a planner that helped her maintain a spiritual focus AND handle her business, Dr. Lettsome designed her own daily planning journal and is sharing it with you! Inside Centered, you will find a quarterly undated planning journal with daily pages that include journaling prompts to help you establish a spiritual foundation from which to begin your day (Center Yourself pages), daily pages to record tasks AND a step by step process to determine when to tackle those tasks (Organize Yourself pages), weekly pages to plan and organize your upcoming week, so you can best allocate your time (Work Your Week pages), and guide to create your own menu of self care options (Care for Yourself pages). Achieving calm and clarity is an inside job. CENTERED aids you in that process so that you can better handle the unexpected nature of life around you.
I am committed to excellence and love to assist people who desire to move forward in their lives and ministries. To that end, I have integrated over 20 years of congregational ministry experience, extensive biblical and theological training, Spirit-led discernment, and my love of God and people to create RSL Ministries. I birthed RSL Ministries out of deep desire to help people develop deeper relationships with God, live out their sense of call, and navigate life's challenges.
My approach to ministry is marked by honest compassion, profound clarity, and practical strategies for reaching one’s goals. I am known for creating safe and encouraging spaces for people to strengthen their practice of ministry, for individuals (lay, clergy, or questioning) to discern what God is calling or leading them to do-whether great or small, secular or sacred- and work through what may be blocking their progress in these areas without embarrassment or shame. When all is said and done, I find great joy in helping people experience, follow, and grow in God in their daily lives.
I wear multiple hats, but none more important than that of wife and mother. I am married to the Rev. Lydell C. Lettsome, M.D., and together we parent our 2 children, Tiffany (the Fabulous) and Luke (the Amazing). I am also a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

"This is so exciting. I have been preaching almost 40 years and feel like I have missed the mark. I am looking forward to a new way of preaching based upon proper exegesis of the text."

If you have a chance to work with her, pounce on it immediately. Based on what she has done for my church, my staff, and me, I can assure that you will not regret it. In fact, it would be one of the best moves you could have ever made.
